Revenind la masina: putem spune ca noul X6 va semana foarte mult cu acest concept, ca partea frontala este similara lui X5, insa marile deosebiri apar la linia spatelui, acolo unde pavilionul coboara puternic spre stopuri, compromitand oarecum spatiul pentru cei doi pasageri spate, dar dand linia unui coupe, doar ca unul cu oaresce capacitati off-road. Acestea din urma sunt asigurate de un nou sistem BMW numit Dynamic Performance Control, care controleaza sasiul si trenul de rulare in combinatie cu un sistem de tractiune integrala xDrive, care poate varia cuplul pe punti atunci cand se pierde tractiunea pe una dintre ele. Imediat ce masina detecteaza o posibila subvirare - sau supravirare - a autovehiculului, sistemul va varia distributia tractiunii pe fiecare dintre roti pentru a asigura o trasa perfecta in curbe. Ceea ce îmi place foarte mult este obiectivul camerei, acoperit cu un capac culisant din aluminiu (acesta se încadrează în linia generală a terminalului, nu iese în relief precum la K800) şi asistat de un bliţ Xenon ce are jumătate din dimensiunea unuia folosit pe aparatele foto compacte. Tot lângă obiectiv se află o mică suprafaţă metalică reflexivă care te ajută la autoportrete şi un LED flash cu rol de lampă de asistenţă pentru focalizare. Latura din dreapta găzduieşte butoanele de control pentru cameră: declanşatorul, tasta de selecţie mod foto/video şi binecunoscutele săgeţi +/- de zoom, dar şi cu rol de taste de volum. În stânga telefonului avem interfaţa de conectare headset/încărcător/cablu de date şi lăcaşul dedicat cardurilor Memory Stick Micro (M2). Mai degrabă, C905 se poate compara cu modelul de 5 MP de la Sony Ericsson (K850), lansat anul trecut. Noutăţile aduse sunt opţiunea “Smart Contrast” care ar trebui să optimizeze contrastul imaginii, rezultatele sunt însă dezastruoase: pozele ies cu culori şterse şi neclare. Nu recomand activarea ei. Altă opţiune, ceva mai utilă, este Face Detection – focusează automat pe faţa subiectului. O altă facilitate care îl diferenţiază de K850 este stabilizatorul de imagine digital, nu la fel de performant precum cel optic dar mai bine decât deloc. Şi în fine, funcţia geotagging, care preia coordonatele locului în care a fost realizată captura, mulţumită receptorului GPS integrat. Nu mi-a picat deloc bine absenţa setărilor pentru valorile ISO şi imposibilitatea de a alege modul “ON” pentru bliţ. Bliţ-ul se declanşează automat, în funcţie de condiţiile de iluminare, chiar şi atunci când bifezi opţiunea “Red Eye Reduction”. Măcar poate fi forţat să stea închis. Alte funcţii şi aplicaţii Sony Ericsson C905 nu este un smartphone, însă are câteva facilităţi întâlnite în special la telefoanele inteligente: GPS şi Wi-Fi. Serviciile prin GPS sunt date de aplicaţiile Google Maps şi Wayfinder Navigator. Nu uită că pentru a le accesa, ai nevoie de o conexiune la Internet. Recomand HSDPA, deoarece are o arie de acoperire infinit mai mare decât un spot Wi-Fi. Accesul la Internet este asigurat de un browser foarte bine pus la punct, cu funcţie de zoom în pagini, bookmarks, history şi cursor virtual. Player-ul audio este excelent structurat, în playlist-uri şi pe categorii (piese, albume, artişti). Tot din Media Center te pui la curent cu ultimele noutăţi de pe Internet, cu ajutorul cititorului de fluxuri RSS Web Feeds. Iată şi alte câteva aplicaţii incluse de producător: AccuWeather, CamPlus, Photo Mate, Slideshow Wall, World Clock 3D, VideoDJ, PhotoDJ, MusicDJ, Remote Control. Mesageria cuprinde SMS, MMS şi E-mail, structura fiind cea binecunoscută de la precedentele modele Sony Ericsson din clasele mainstream şi high-end. Calitatea convorbirilor este ireproşabilă, aşa cum se prezintă la majoritatea dispozitivelor mobile din ziua de azi. Deja nu prea mai are rost să intrăm în amănunte, spre deosebire de acum câţiva ani când se făceau tot felul de măsurători pentru a evidenţia cât de bun este telefonul la capitolul comunicare. Autonomie Sony Ericsson C905 are o autonomie teoretică de 380 ore în stand-by şi până la 9 ore de convorbiri. Practic, bateria Li-Po de 930 mAh nu te va ţine mai mult de două zile, dacă foloseşti camera foto cu Blitz la maximum 50 de fotografii, dar mai şi vorbeşti în medie cam 40 de minute pe zi. Noul cioc o ajuta sa apuce hrana, sa bea apa si sa-si curete penajul. “Acvila a aterizat si acum are un cioc”, a declarat inginerul Nate Calvin dupa operatia propriu-zisa. Calvin a petrecut peste 200 de ore pentru a crea o proteza prostetica cu rol si functionalitate cat mai apropiata de cea a unui cioc normal de acvila. Ciocul proteza este realizat dintr-un coplozit de Nylon si este atasat temporar acvilei. Un nou cioc realizat din materiale mai rezistente va fi realizat si atasat permanent acvilei in viitorul apropiat. Cu toate ca salvatorii lui Beauty nu intentioneaza sa o elibereze in natura, unde supravietuirea ei ar fi putin probabila, noul cioc o va ajuta pe Beauty sa manance si sa respire correct.
